Real Estate

Overview

Savage Group’s first real estate investment was the purchase of commercial land in Frisco, Texas in 2001. Our investments have encompassed a wide range of real estate in the last two decades, and we strive for the highest quality product in every project we undertake. Today, Savage Group’s primary focus is improving raw, undeveloped land in areas of growth.  Our mission is to build a lasting legacy through high quality developments that will enhance communities and, in turn, the lives of their inhabitants.

Projects

The Trails of Jordan Creek will be a master planned community that provides high quality amenities for all neighborhood residents to enjoy, including an amenity center, walking and bicycling trails, parks, and ponds.

McCart St, LLC acquired, designed, and entitled this land as a mixed-use master planned community. McCart has partnered with the city of Krum for this development and has agreed to annex the land into the city limits, which greatly benefits the city. The property has been zoned and platted for single-family homes, townhomes, and some commercially zoned tracts adjacent to McCart St. Phase one includes 239 single-family lots and will be delivered in year 2021. Future phases include an additional 704 lots.

We are excited to grow and enhance the city of Krum and believe The Trails of Jordan Creek will set a new quality standard for development in the community.

For nearly 100 years, the Masonic Lodge operated an orphanage 4 miles southeast of downtown Fort Worth. When funding for the orphanage dried up, the Masons closed the orphanage and then sold the land in 2005. FW Mason Height subsequently acquired this land in 2006 and has transformed the site into Renaissance Heights, a master planned, mixed-use community of 180 acres.

To date, more than $250 million has been invested in infrastructure with more to come. The Shoppes at Renaissance Square include more than 330,000 square feet of retail space which provides close proximity to grocery stores and other quality retail/commercial entities. More than 600 jobs have been created so far, with more to come.  Our Uplift Education, the William M. McDonald YMCA, Cook Children’s Health System and ACH Child and Family Services have built facilities within the boundaries of Renaissance. These organizations are committed to improve the quality of life and opportunities for future affordable housing residents.

Additionally, Renaissance Heights is a network member of Purpose Built Communities and follows the Purpose Built Model. Using this proven neighborhood revitalization model, the partnership works together to ensure that the (1) cradle-to-college education, (2) mixed-income housing, and (3) health and wellness investments made within the Renaissance Heights target areas that are high-quality, connected, and in support of a common vision: a comprehensive, place-based partnership committed to connecting children and families with the resources and opportunities they need to thrive.
